The mission of the Department of Applied Physics at the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem is to acquire, generate, and disseminate knowledge at the frontier of physics
research and to harness it to the task of advancing science and technology. In particular, the
department is active in producing the evolving synergism between optoelectronics and microelectronics.
|
 |
The department offers both an undergraduate B.Sc program in engineering, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. graduate programs in applied physics. These programs come to meet the challenge of
training the engineer and applied physicist of the future, when the technologies
are based on the combination of hitherto distinct scientific disciplines, and are subject to
continuous change and development.
